Marcel Steyn has been at Sentech for the past 10 years, gaining exposure to a variety of projects. One of the most exciting was managing the Vivid DTH commercial section where he played a major role in establishing the Vivid brand, setting up distribution channels and establishing the support services of a call centre and repair facilities.
As Product Manager for VSTAR, he was involved with the first telecommunications product launched by Sentech in 2003 and went on to launch BizNet, MyWireless flexi, MultiNet, MailLink, VMESH and InstoreAd, as well as various ad hoc projects in his capacity as Portfolio Manager in the Product Development section, the position he currently holds.
Marcel has a BA in Human Resources and a MCom (Business Management) from RAU. He completed his Honours in Geography and has a Masters in Town and Regional Planning from Stellenbosch University.
