March 7 Petrol Price Increase

Dont understand it, driving so you above other people, stuffing up the already stuffed up roads, paying 3 times the price for a flat tyre let alone changing it, whats the damn point lol!

And that sig, Einstein said something about cars back then? I wonder what he would have said about a stupid Pajero.:D
You are just sour because we can afford it :p

i used to drive an Audi A6 with low profiles .... i spent so much money on straightening the rims so it's just not worth it ... plus ... with JGB *** traffic, i can now make my own detour "terrain permitting " if traffic is hectic :p

AND you can get in the way of Taxis and they either give way or go round you.

Keeps you above the smell of diesel Polos and flying pieces of turbo

and with nice bull bar .. you can push them off the road :D  or do some serious damage to them :p

I've pushed plenty of 4x4s out of the way with my old VW Beetle.
4x4 drivers may be pushy but if you're willing to actually crunch their flared wheel arches in they back off. :D
I don't take nonsense from arrogant, push-shove drivers.

Anyway 4x4s don't cause that much wear and tear on the roads because their tire loading isn't that high.
Big tires spread the load out over a larger contact area.
Now fully loaded coal trucks on the other hand cause major damage to roads because their tire loading is far higher.

Besides i only drive like i have to drive on the roads .... :D

Paul as a matter of interest why do you spell tyre like that?

tyre or tire : Wheel rubber part. Canada as U.S. Tire is the older spelling, but both were used in the 15th and 16th centuries (for a metal tire); tire became the settled spelling in the 17th century but tyre was revived in Britain in the 19th century for pneumatic tyres, possibly because it was used in some patent documents[60], though many continued to use tire for the iron variety. The Times newspaper was still using tire as late as 1905.

Ta, you are still using it as late as 2007??

"Tire" is the pretty universally accepted spelling - it's only a few common wealth countries that hang onto "tyre".
English spelling wasn't formalized until the 18th century and both forms of spelling were already being used by the English so it's not actually an American vs English thing either.

Pretending to quote what people have never said is called lying.
So what is it you want to comment about with regards to the petrol price that made it so important to stomp on off topic posts?
It must be something really important.
