Yip, I only got 2-3%, but I am also a consultant/contractor, so I am just happy to still have a job

on highveld yesterday some economist said house prices dropped by 0.3% last year. Issume thats an average ofcos.

He also said house prices should take a while to go up again. How long is a while, I dunno:confused:

In the company that I work for, last year it was 5% (min) - 8% (max)
very few people got max, and if they did it was to align the salary to the other staff.

My guess for this year will be around the same.

I'm an IT contractor/consultant so I don't really get a "company wide increase" but I just agreed to a new 2 year contract with one of my clients at a 17% increase in my hourly rate for this year, next years rate will be discussed next Feb... basically they need me more than I need them and I politely reminded them of that !
