I am battling to make my home DVR viewable via the adsl. Please help, I am 95% there just need the router to direct incoming connections to the correct IP.

I have set up a ddns account, and its working.
I have used the virtual server to route to the dvr's fixed ip (port 80)
The dvr's ip is in the range allocated by the router (dont think that matters)

OK, so when I go to my ddns page, it brings me to the routers settings page.
Any ideas?

Its the Marconi 4 port wireless router, free from telkom.

I'm not sure about the Marconi but I know on other routers you can change the management port of the router to something else. O yeah and another thing your are trying to access the Dyn DNS from another internet connection right? Otherwise you will get the setup page.

Thanks! I tried it from work and it is now working. Chewing bandwidth, but working. I couldnt see it from home. makes sense now.
