Marconi Router Possessed

Has anyone experienced this weird sh.it before???? I have rtfm, I have phoned both Telkom support and MWEB (my company uses MWEB so I can use their details for support...) and the configurations seems spot on.

However, the only sites I can surf is Telkom.co.za. The router connects, all the settings have been verified and I have tried it in numerous different ways but it will not let me connect to any other website. Could the router be faulty or on drugs perhaps? Why would anyone wanna surf Telkoms site?

Hi MyLowBandwidth,

I know when I first signed up for ADSL they gave me a temorary Userid which I could use to check that the configuration of the Router was correct. This Userid only allowed me to access the Telkom site and nothing else.
Did you ask Telkom support if the Userid is a temporary one?

If its a self-install and you have checked that the username & pwd has been changed contact them, i think there might be a problem ?

I have used both the Telkom username and password, as well as the MWEB account my company uses. Nothing works. I also recently swapped the router at Telkom yesterday. Still nothing.
