Virtual Server Configuration

I really need help and Marconi well...
I would like to know how to point traffic to MY computer from the router.
So when you type in your ipaddress it won't go to the router but rather MY computer. I would like it so if i type in my ADSL ip address it comes to MY computer. I have a Telkom ADSL Router Pots 4 Port Ethernet Interface any support would be great.

Virtual Server Configuration needs to be set up i have no idea how to do this

THANK YOU

Bryan :)

Virtual server

Ok first of all what u want to use it for ftp, shoutcast etc u will need to know what port to forward to in 1st place drop me line and i will gladly help u out since i figured this out after days of config on my router for a ftp server i am running...

I've set up my router to do most things now, I use the IRC, I chat, I play online games. The only thing so far that I have had a problem with is getting ICQ to recieve files. I can send them out fine, but I can't recieve anything from other users. I think the problem here is that ICQ doesn't have a specified port for sending files to another user, so it uses the entire range 1024-63xxx, now the marconi router doesn't allow you to specify ranges like that. So....has anyone been able to set up ICQ to recieve files?

Could anyone help me set this up on mine aswell? It would really be a great help! All i want to do is forward connections to my pc from the router so i can run a small FTP.

Thanks, it seems as though I have a different version of router to the one spoken about there. Half the options are different on mine. Can anyone help? :(

Enables DMZ on the Marconi 4 port router, put the IP address of your PC in. Disable the Firewall on the router, enable the Firewall on your PC.

It will do as you request.
