i have not to date found a compatible usb modem to use with linux. my speedtouch 330 was pretty useless under both mandrake 10.1ce and suse9.1. i would suggest you get an ethernet modem. i'm getting rid of my 1 month old 4port microcom modem. i bought it a month ago for R1000 at incredible connection. i cant stand the adsl cap and will be returning to internet cafe's for my access. make me an offer if you are in cape town.

Were you ever able to find one? The thread that I've replied to before; is quite old; has anyone come across any information since then? I have this ADSL USB POTS modem from Telkom (which I know is a cheepy) and would like to get it to work an LInux, suse to be specific but any directions is welcome.

Would you know where to start;

It think they call it a Marconi ADSL USB Pots Modem, with Material Number 6002409

Thank You,
m.a
