Mark Hughes sacked

Mourinho is practically the only coach in the world who could lead City to glory. Period. If he's actually serious about Inter then I don't see him coming in at least 3 years... though you never know. personally, I think he will want to do wonders in all the Top 3 leagues before he settles down and picks a side to make a real name for himself a la Ferguson.
 
Mourinho will not go back to the epl till after he is done at inter and then la liga. He wants to win the treble of the biggest 3 leagues in the world. He has the epl and serie a.

Goodluck Mancio. I am sure he will do a good job.

Don't see Jose ever doing a Ferguson. He is too much of a hot tempered personality for that.
 
I meant more in the line of actually make one club truly great. Though I don't see what temper has to do with it... Fergie ain't a peaceful old man in any respect. Never was.

Yeah but Fergy gets along with his owners and the media in some. Mou gets on the nevers of people eventually. He doesn't seem like someone who could settle down at one club. He is more like capello for me. someone who will win where ever he goes but never be a one club great.

He likes to be the centre of attention and he will finally find a club where the chairman does not need to be bigger than the manager. At Chelsea - it became all about Mourinho and that is what contributed to his falling out. I'm fairly certain of the fact that if he finds a chairman who is content to leave all the limelight to Mourinho... he will stay.

Mou is eying United out... he wants to be SAF have all the say have all the attention... and he may get it...

They couldn't attract the best because of the lack of CL. Seems the owners thought they could just walk into the top 4 with cast offs from the current top 4. City could be in for trouble if they've got impatient trigger happy owners
 
I'd hate for them to be a play thing for the owners. When they get tired of the fetish and drop them in the ****, it wouldnt be so pretty then.
