Mark Taylor, general manager Conversions at Nedcor Bank, has been appointed managing director at Nashua Mobile effective 1 July 2003. His appointment follows the death of Simon Herbert in a helicopter accident in Mpumalanga three weeks prior.

Gerrit Pretorius, chief executive of Reunert says: "Mark is no newcomer to the industry. He was an integral part of the Nashua Mobile team and initially involved in the merger of Nashua Cellular and Nedtel Cellular in July 2000. Earlier this year Mark rejoined Nedcor in a senior capacity. I am grateful to Nedcor for agreeing to release Mark from his current responsibilities at such short notice."

Nashua Mobile is a wholly owned subsidiary of Reunert and an independent cellular Service Provider marketing and selling offerings of the MTN, Vodacom and Cell C networks.
