Job Brief
Industrial Data Xchange is looking for a marketing and branding developer with a creative eye to assist with and developing marketing activities at IDX.
Role Requirements:
• Maintaining and updating existing company website and doing the eventual rebuilding of the website as the CMS technology changes.
• Improve SEO for IDX products and services and those of their vendors and report back on success rates
• Create and send out newsletters and maintain mailing lists and report back on success rates
• Updating and creating of pull-up banners and signage
• Updating and creating stationary (letterheads, templates, etc.)
• Organising branded clothing (shirts, overalls, etc.) and corporate gifts
• Publishing of technical blogs, application notes and white papers (interview technical persons involved in a project and create content based on that)
• Take videos and photos of IDX events, training and projects for marketing purposes
• Creation of high quality logos, brochures, product packaging designs and professional pictures that explain IDX products and services
• Edit videos and presentations for publishing on YouTube
• Assist in design and setup of stands at expos and events and be willing to “man-the-stand” at the events to explain IDX services at a high level
Candidate Requirements:
• Personal integrity and willingness to self-manage but contribute in a team setting to the success of others
• Strong customer service orientation
• Excellent oral and written communications skills are vital
• Qualification in Marketing, English, Web Development or similar
• Familiar with DotNetNuke or other CMS tools
• Knowledge of HTML5 and how to implement responsiveness into webpages
• Knowledge JavaScript programming would be advantageous
• Familiar with Photoshop, InDesign or similar program
• Strong customer service orientation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Valid driver’s license
Salary Range (guideline)
Junior: R180k-R220k
Skilled: R300k-R350k
