Anyone still having issues with application updates / downloads through the Marketplace?

Tried to update Whatsapp last week and received the following error message (still don't know how to get a screenshot on this Windows Phone):

We're sorry, but we can't complete your request at the moment. Try launching Marketplace again. If the problem continues, check back in a little while or try restarting your phone.

Error code: 805a0193

This error appeared on all subsequent app updates and new downloads.

I am using a HTC Titan running on Mango. Last night I updated the OS, I presume it was the Tango update.

If this happens, I download it to my PC, copy it to the phone and install it from there

I also get the problem. Apps will download over data network (3G) but not WiFi. This problem also occurred more or less with the windows phone release in SA. I remember some of the ISP's had DNS issues with the new marketplace.

How blerry frustrating.

For what it's worth, my Lumia 900 downloads Marketplace apps fine over WiFi. All previously bought apps installed flawlessly.

Thanks for the responses, turned off WiFi which resolved the download issue

Sent from my HTC Titan using Board Express

I had exactly the same problem on my Lumia 800. Upgrading or installing some apps would not work while using my home wifi, but would work if only using 3g. But all other browsing /e-mail etc worked fine over the wifi.

I worked out the problem to be with DNS, though I still don't really understand why. I change the DNS servers on my DHCP to google DNS servers 8.8.8.8 or 4.4.4.4 and all of a sudden it works fine. Very strange as there are no other problems with any of my other PC's /phones etc using local DNS servers, only windows marketplace.

This happened to me way back too, and this solved it too.
