Firstly, I am posting this here because I know that this is my best chance of finding the Mikrotik gurus, even though this does not have anything to do with Wifi specifically... If this is totally against the rules, then perhaps a mod can move it elsewhere more appropriate.
I have recently set up my mikrotik to dial two adsl accounts, one for international (default route), and the other for all local traffic. I did this by entering about 1400 routes obtained from an IS server and setting the gateway for those routes to be the local pppoe interface. It works great, and I am very pleased with the result....except for one little problem.
I'm a PS3 gamer, and I play a lot of online games. One example is Call of Duty 5. COD5 games are hosted by one of the players, so it is possible to have a locally hosted game which is great. Unfortunately, you still need to authenticate on the international servers, so you will always need some intl. bandwidth to play. The problem now is that I am unable to connect because the IP address that the COD server "sees" and broadcasts to other players (intl) is not the IP address that I am pushing my traffic through (local) via the routes.
Can anyone offer a solution to this/ problem? Is it possible to "spoof" my intl. IP address over the local interface somehow?
