Mass Effect 2 is awsome... like a boss.

Haven't had one crash on my system yet. Had an issue with the installer because of someone forget to check that its compatible with system with two optical drives but else than getting past that it has been very stable.

I installed the game on my pc with 2 optical drives, went without a hitch. I was watching the installer, and for some reason it uses rar files to compress the data. Thought that was interesting.

About 20hrs in and looooovin it, will prolly get better around playthrough 45 ;)

Miss some of the RPG elements of ME1 though... Inventory etc...

I really miss my inventory as well, crazy as it was sometimes. I mean, I made a lovely set of armor for me and my team, best suited to everyone. And of course my Spectre sniper rifle. Things got too simplified.

Yeah it's a bit overly simplified.

The planet scanning can also become a bit tedious after the first 10 times. I wouldn't really have minded if you could move the scanner faster (i.e. if it moved at the same speed as it does when you don't hold the scan button down).

If you talk to Miranda about upgrades, you can get an improved planet scanning upgrade, but I haven't gone for it, may not actually, since I think it semi useless the way I play the game.

On my male paragon I was sorely tempted to pursue Tali - she's incredibly well done in ME2, they really developed her character - but given he's a "good guy". and I have a pre-existing relationship with Ashley from ME 1 I thought I'd do the honourable thing and see what happens with Ash in ME3.
I just started my second play through this morning with my female Shepard, also a Paragon, but I'm getting the idea my romance options may be somewhat limited with her. She romanced Liara in ME1, but that doesn't look to go anywhere in 2, and while that looks to open up the option for another romance in the sequel, I feel kinda akward chatting up a male character, even if my toon is female :p

My male Renegade however, he's going to have a whole lot more fun, given I think you can probably score with Jack, Miranda, and maybe even Kelly in one play through :D

Just started playing on saturday. This game is freaking awesome. <3 it. Welldone to bioware on yet another awesome game :)

Damnit I need a bigger TV... the writing is much smaller on ME2 than ME. I have moved the couch across the lounge.

who did u guys choose as ur love interest

Romanced ashley in me1,slept with jack in me2 and romanced miranda. Looking forward to see how that plays out in me3. This is with my male paragon character.

I've just completed ME1 again as a Paragon which I can carry into ME2. Saving the Krogans, Arachni and the council may come in handy for ME3. Will probably need all the help I can get.

Lol you people put to much trust in others. Let them all perish and conquer the universe on your own :D haha

I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favorite store on the Citadel.

Stayed up until 4am playing this. Busy doing every damned side quest in the game because I don't want it to end.

Cant bring myself to play through ME1 again(all the time spent in Lifts and that crap dune buggy/APC), I deleted my saved games, and I made different choices (saved the council, etc), I'd really like to see how it affects ME2.
