Mass Effect 3 Install or not to install

Hi everyone

Today i decided to get ME3, but i think it was the wrong thing to do. It's installation is a total nightmare.

okay so you get 2 DVD's and inser the first, it then install's origin which you then have to create an account on
meanwhile it downloads a Origin update. Fine so far...

The next step sux BIG time...!! it connects (the origin that is) and starts to download a 10gig game that I already have on the second DVD! next i went to look at EA and Origin forums to see if others had similar issues and YES they did. Currently it is written in their forum the issue is being investigated. So how the F**K can they sell a thing
that just dont work?

Someone posted a work around on how to manually install it from the 2nd DVD, if i look at the numbers (meaning gigs here) the install file i have on DVD is like 6gig, the download one it just over 10, who has that kinda gigs in SA, well i sure as hell dont.

Anyone around here had similar issues? if so please tell me how you solved it.

After installing Origin and the download starts exit the program and try installing again from the dvds. Had the same sort of problem on Steam with Skyrim a while back.

thank you i will try that, EA support currently told me this issue is being investigated. I also found a work around on their website the prob is, they talk about 2 files and on both DVD's i only have one the other is no where to be seen but i will give this a try and repost here. thanks again
