Massive Luno transfer fee to binance

Apologies for opening an old thread; I'm trying to send USDC from Luno to Binance, as the OP explains he has done.
On Binance, I select make a crypto deposit, select USDC, select ETH(ERC20) as the network, and then copy that address into Luno's input box where it asks the address I want to send USDC to. But Luno then complains that the address is not valid.

How did you do it, what am I missing here?

often these type of transactions has a tag or other reference
that has to be added without it you lose the crypto

may be talking out my ass haven't done a usdc transfer before but think i recall something like that with other smart contract based transactions

Not maybe mixing up USDC and USDT?

Are you sure you have the correct token, and correct chain?

Who uses USDC? ....anyway on Binance you need to choose the network your sender will be using. (remember on Binance click wallet, then deposit, select USDC, select network)

So on VALR you can utilise these 3 networks :

1) Ethereum
2) Avax c-chain
3) Solana

I would say, Avax is the cheapest, then Solana, then Ethereum.

Why don't you just try Avax as a test, deposit $10 and see what it costs. Then if and when it comes through you can proceed to send more.

yea the people who need to ask how to do this should always do 2 transactions , the cost of two transactions is a lot cheaper than a 100% fee
 
If you need to send funds to Binance, don't buy USDC. Buy XRP. The transaction only takes a few minutes and there's much more liquidity for XRP so you generally get a better R/$ rate.
