That failure resulted in the theft of hundreds of thousands of consumers payment card numbers, which were sent to an Internet address registered in Russia and $10.6 million in fraudulent charges, according to the complaint.

Why were credit card numbers being stored in the first place instead of payment reference numbers from the relevant payment gateway(s) being used by the hotel chain? Oh wait it's in the USA

What is a 411 scam? I only know about the 419 scams like "Hello my name is Jacob Zuma, I am your ancestor and I have emailed you because I want you to send me money to cover the costs of sending you your share of tax payers' money".
