Kingston, Jamaica - Match-fixing has taken centre stage in the investigation into the murder of Pakistan coach Bob Woolmer. Police are now focusing on the betting odds of the 2007 World Cup shocker - Pakistan losing to minnows Ireland on St Patrick's Day, according to reports in The Hindu.
It has been reported that Deputy Commissioner of Police Mark Shields, the former Scotland Yard high-flier who is leading the Jamaican investigation, had raised suspicions about the 8-1 odds being touted for an Irish win.
Shields reportedly confirmed the International Cricket Council's anti-corruption and security unit chief investigator Jeff Rees would be looking into the videotapes of Pakistan-Ireland match.
