Always thought that it'd be great if certain models were matched to engines in other models in their stable - to create a quick car in most the models. I'm not sure about the market, price or if they'd sell - and I'm sure it could eat into the market of their larger counterparts. But fun to think of it.

Volvo have an S60 T6 which is good 225kw - put that in the V40!
Toyota can take their GT86 which is good for 147kw - put that in the Aurus!
Honda can plonk their Type R at 140+KW into a Jazz ...

Won't happen - but nice to think

Cough. Not quite as powerful as the Civic Type R but it should do 140+KW.

The Toyota GT86 is essentially a Subaru. Take an Impreza STI engine and shove it into the Auris instead. Should be terrifying.

Oh nice - didn't know about the Jazz

Nissan Juke R is also an example, but at least they made a decent run

The Juke-R is a limited production run Juke with a Nissan GT-R's VR engine[18] that boasts 545 hp (406 kW). Nissan has recently[when?] announced a total of 21 Juke-Rs will be produced with the 2013 GT-R's running gear and performance stats.
