Matebook D14 or Aspire 5

HI Guys,

I'm struggling to decide which laptop to choose. I have the Huawei Matebook D14 in mind because I really like the look as well as the fast charging and Huawei Share. The Aspire 5 really looks nice and it comes with an Nvidea MX350 2Gb card.

Any alternative recommendations?

The Huawei is a great PC. Nice and portable, solid build, very good screen and I like the built in fingerprint reader on the power button. You just press to power on and it logs you in. My wife is very happy with hers. The Ryzen graphics are not bad at all but a dedicated 2Gb graphics card is compelling. The Acer build looks good too but go to incredible and see if you can actually see it and touch it.

I also thought of maybe going to incredible myself and check it out. Thanks for the input. Does the Matebook D14 have a backlit keyboard?

On second look.... 3 yr warranty on the Huawei, 12 mo in the Acer.
The screen is probably better on the Huawei too but see if you can see it in person. I would go with the Huawei myself. Nothing worse than spending R12k+ and having an issue after 12 months.

Totally agree on this. I wonder if I should wait for the new AMD Ryzen 4000 series. I see a lot of reviews about it but nowhere south Africa.
