Calling it now:
Matrix IV is more of an epilogue and most negativity comes from this and it being a long relaxed look at what could have happend after the matrix 3. I'm about 50% in and if you expected something else then it might be a downer.

In this context it's neither mind blowing as the first or as bad as x, but rather as I'm saying an expansion on what if.

One of the movie's weak points feeling a bit like generic marvel or whatever we watch these days. It was better for me in the 1st three with impact and meaning. Nothing like that or even the cool bike scenes with trinity. The movie seems to be picking up after 1st 1.5 hours and hopefully it ends stronger than it's lumpy start and rather weak middle.
 
When you guys finally watched this tell me what you thought about the camera work. I actually google 'matrix 4 no wide shots' as it comes of as too close at times or being 4:3 rather the norm.
 
I would lie if I said I'm not disappointed but that was expected having picked up where this was going and what it turned out to be
(lets save trinity movie)
. What as a movie it failed at was weak characters, ok dialog, generic action and
ending like yet another resident evil without satisfaction

5/10 for being a matrix expansion
4/10 being judged as a movie

As I've said it's 'ok' but not so great as movie.

Yep, have not even bothered downloading it. I will stick with the bad last 2 movies and accept that as the end of it.
