Matrix 4 gets a release date

A really pointless addition to the "Matrix universe" :X3: :rolleyes:
Like old rock stars trying to make a comeback.
A waste of time IMO.
 
I now see why HBO decided to release all its 2021 movies online on the same day as in the cinemas. They knew they were releasing a bunch of kak this year. The Matrix is no different.
 
Yeah, this is not going to be easy to watch . Tried it but stopped when the preaching won't stop - stopped at the point where they talk about women deciding for themselves to have families kids, etc. I want sci-fi not to listen to what the movie makers think of gender issues.
 
Most mainstream gaming media are perceived as what many dubs nowadays as woke, so I was surprised to see their critic scores… ouch, but the general ‘woke’ media, they loved this, however, The Guardian review... I guess Resurrections didn't inspire any original Matrix nostalgia. I did note that some 'woke' reviewers, who gave lesser scores, didn't really expand on the 'woke' concepts, like they ignored to talk about it which I would assume is to avoid any online eye gouging.

BTW, I don’t get the whole woke thing, any more. Woke people calling other people woke, Karen’s calling others people Karen. It is getting tiresome. People really need better things to do, perhaps try to break through the echo chamber.

I found it hilarious how they kept unintentionally breaking the 4th wall.....

The merv was depressingly accurate.... in his commentary about this movie.

The only nod I really liked but so underused and underpowered as the alternative but failed neo in the movie. They should have gone with him + the olde vampire programs. But noooooooooo.

I know kung-fu lost all meaning in this flick :rolleyes::(

I honestly don't understand how any competent filmmaker (which they clearly are) thinks this is a good idea. It just pulls you out of the movie.

Gintama does it properly..... but it gets away with it because it's basically satire rubbing itself in your face and bragging about it :ROFL:

TM is not supposed to be satire.... or maybe it's not and they genuinely believe the gospel this movie is preaching.

This movie is almost if pureflix had a massive budget and could hijack known franchises.

The movie is as much of a tired old whore as keanu is for agreeing to it..... insulting as that is it's not an insult.
