I mean… a film franchise that got ordinary people thinking about metaphysics goes meta… didn’t see that coming.I honestly don't understand how any competent filmmaker (which they clearly are) thinks this is a good idea. It just pulls you out of the movie.
Eventually we will get an installment with a shotgun cane or something.Beginning to wonder how the next john wick is going to turn out.
As long the cane ends in a respectable double barrel I might be ok with it.Eventually we will get an installment with a shotgun cane or something.
Much like all the other movies.Beginning to wonder how the next john wick is going to turn out.
Wonder if they should have gone with the matrix 3.5 instead6.5/10. Worth the watch, at least. Agree with @Herr der Verboten that it was more of an epilogue than its own film but as a Matrix fan I didn’t mind.
Also Bugs is kinda hot.
Like the classic: Which hellraiser should I go for or all of them? just stick to the first one and the second if you want more of the story without being drained in the sequels.Much like all the other movies.
F&F, Matrix, John Wick - they should have all stopped after the second one.
This one gets itI might’ve been better off having not watched it.
Think this review covers much of what I thought of the movie. Loved parts of it, others not so much.

'The Matrix Resurrections' Review: Dizzyingly Playful Sequel Isn't What You Expect
Review: On DVD and Blu-ray now, Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss question reality in this Matrix remix (with mixed results).www.cnet.com
Did we watch different moviesSure, it's nice to actually see and follow what's going on in punch-ups that are clearer than the incomprehensible shaky-cam and whiplash-inducing editing that ruins all too many action scenes lately.
I fell asleep after watching it for 30 minutes last night. It comes across as a spoof movie, milking its predecessor for all it has. They tried so hard to recreate M1 by adding a layer of complexity with this concept that everyone is imprisoned and manipulated all over again, and the proof thereof is staring them right in the face...I might’ve been better off having not watched it.

M4 Should have been about the failed one/neo or at least not more of neo and trinity. The very problems of star wars being overly focused on and about Luke. This "layer of complexity" is not a new concept.
The Architect already explains it in M2.
