I think I was the 1st oke posting my "review" of the film when it dropped in '21. I structured the watch also by watching the 1st 3 installments days before the 4th one dropped. I will not be going down the rabbit hole again & I know it is generally not liked however for the most part I enjoyed it. It ticked a number of boxes for me.

It’s basically a rehash of the first one minus the unique storyline and where everyone but Neo does cool stuff.

The new Morpheus guy was actually pretty cool though.

I can't believe Keanu took the role. Everyone's response is he's too old for the action... Uhm John Wick. Seriously?

It's worth a watch to see where the story goes but I had to rewatch it to be mehified... It could've been way better.

Didn’t say I liked the movie, it was the crappest movie I have seen since I saw a 2000s Steven Seagal movie.

Lots of extreme views around this where somehow it’s so bad it gets a zero score.

That’s simply not the case and while it wasn’t amazing it doesn’t fall under the bad movie category at all.

I would happily say it beats the third one easily and probably even the second but I don’t remember that very well.
 
If the computer that ran the original Matrix evolved over 30 years what would it end up as?

And that's basically what we see in this film.

Wouldve been a lot worse if they just continued with the same stuff for the sake of fan favouritism.
