Matthew Green is an Assistant Research Professor at the Johns Hopkins Information Security Institute.

Green completed his PhD in 2008 with advisors Susan Hohenberger and Avi Rubin. His research includes techniques for privacy-enhanced information storage, radio-frequency identification (RFID), and bilinear map-based cryptography.

Green was formerly a partner in Independent Security Evaluators, a custom security evaluation and design consultancy. From 1999-2003, Green served as a senior technical staff member at AT&T Laboratories/Research in Florham Park, NJ.
