Just to update, I tried Way69's fix and turned off Bluetooth. Since doing so, I haven't had any problems. I'll keep monitoring, but so far so good. Not sure why this works, but it has. If this problem doesn't pop up within the next few days, I think I can consider this a viable fix for the moment.
