Maximum load on Axpert 5kVA

Hi,

When the Axpert 5kVA goes into line or bypass mode, what is the maximum load (in kW) that it can sustain over an extended period of time?

80% of it's rated power.

Well, 100% of it's rated kVA. The trouble is the power factor of whatever you are trying to run. Normally cos(phi) is assumed to be 0.8, hence the assumption is 4kW (which in this case is 5kVA)

Even the manufacturer(s) will tell you don't go above 80% . But you can push as high as you'd like to and if you experience no problems then good for you.
