Maxis explains Simcity offline complexity

Honestly the fact that it took a cracking group less than a week to allow for offline play in the pirated version of the game , leaves me thinking EXCUSES EXCUSES EXCUSES, fun game ,bad DRM.
 
They're quite probably preparing for shutting down the game's servers. What a massive failure this exercise was.
 
Finally, the offline patch means the game can be pirated to kingdom come & back.

Fair's fair .. a horrible stain on the devolpers anti-piracy psyche in exchange for a horrid stain on gamer's psyche.
