So recently I posted a thread asking for Camera advice.

Ended up getting the Canon M10.

However after making a little film of my trip I find my self looking for something better.

Won't be in the near future but there are a couple things I would like to get :

1) Drone
2) Gimbal or some sort of stablizer
3) Something that can record better footage. 25fps at 1080p limits me on some of the edits I'd like to try on Premiere Pro.

Any personal experiences with any of the above ?

Also I have a few of the Adobe products and would like more. Particualry, After Effects and Lightroom.

What's the cheapest way to get these ? I see Adobe charges 50$ a month for all of them.

Sjoe... brave man to brag about cracked Adobe products online. The Photography plan is $9 per month and that includes Photoshop and Lightroom. I use a freeware NLE (Da Vinci Resolve) for video editing and colour grading... and bought Hitfilm 3 a couple of years ago for special effects and video compositing.

I use Inkscape (free) for vector drawing, Blender 3D (free) for creating 3D models and 3D Coat for sculpting and texture painting. So all in all, not free, but not thousands of dollars either. There are freeware alternatives to Photoshop (Gimp) and probably Lightroom as well.

Thanks for this. I would prefer to get Adobe as I've used them alot and the tutorials for them are everywhere.

Guess I'll have to pay for the month when I have something to edit lol.

No lenses on that list?

I don't even know enough about lenses and so forth. Thats why I will keep the M10 for now till I know more about photography.

Any links to where I can read up ?

The M10 has a detachable lens, so you can buy an adapter later and use any existing Canon EF/EFS lens : https://www.canon.co.za/lenses/mount-adapter-ef-eos-m-lens/ or even just buy new Canon EOS - M mount lenses (don't worry, it will make sense later)

And since you're very new to the whole game, here's a lengthy (but worth it) guide that will teach you just about anything and everything you need to know to get you started: https://www.alexbuisse.com/Photoclass/1

Link in on the bottom of that page ^

I rarely use the lens that came with my M. The adapter opens you up to the entire range of canon glass.
