Maya (the streamer) is in South Africa with another streaming guy, somewhere in the Eastern Cape.

For those that don't know her, she runs a small private animal sanctuary in Texas or some such place.

A link to today's outing (or otherwise click on broadcasts/the most recent):

It's always funny to see foreigners experiencing things locally, and we get to see some animals to boot.

The other guy doesn't get out of the house much, one of his early comments: "An Egyptian goose? How did that get to Africa?"

YouTubes? Imma YT oke.

They'll probably post edited versions there, but only in another 2-3 weeks I guess. On Twitch you don't have to watch stuff live, you can click on e.g. her channel -> Videos -> Recent Broadcasts and then whichever one to play it like you would a youtube video.

They do have some different rules, for example copyrighted music will mute past streams in areas, and some streamers will have different rules around old broadcasts, for example only being visible after N time, or for M time etc.

As a kid it was either Gatchaman or Maya the Bee for me. Karel Gott was the singer there or maybe it was localised, still can't remember. Maya the Bee was a Japanese show marketed to Euro audiences, even behind the Iron Curtain.

It looks like they only streamed the two days, but they raised more than R500k in that time.
