Mazda 3 1.6 Fuel Consumption

What's the fuel consumption I should expect from this car? The car was bought new and has around 9000kms on the clock, and currently getting 7.1-7.2l/100km. Is this about right?

I get around 7.8l /100km average but I think its hectic peak hour traffic on hills that kills it.

i get 9.1l/100km in my 1.6 but that is basically all peak hour traffic, and i like to take it to the red line every now and then

On my Yaris i get 5.6-5.8l/100km thats a 1.0 litre my dad used to get around 7.7 on his corolla
