Hi Guys,

My dad's Mazda has been giving issues the last couple of weeks. At first thought it was the catalytic converter, had a de-cat done but that's not the issue. Car is giving a miss-fire type of sound on idling with the warning light being on. Car would jerk on acceleration and the likes. These seem to be symptoms of a faulty airflow sensor.

That being said, I can't find a scrat yard that has any replacements. Spares places don't sell them (dealer only part)

Anyway, going to try and see if I can at least clean it today. Anyone know where it would be possible to get a replacement if needed apart from a dealers? Pretoria would be awesome. 2009 Mazda3 1.6

Cleaned it. Works perfectly, even the engine error light went off.

Piss easy fix, just two screws and some Q20. Wish I used Carb cleaner instead as I had to wait a bit for it to dry.

use electro clean.
midas also sells a liquid molly MAF cleaner
