Hi All, I have a Mazda 3 sedan and with the rains recently I've noticed that the boot is soaking wet and water is gathering in the spare wheel well and the floor at the back behind the drivers seat is soaking wet.
I've checked the boot rubber and it isn't perished and under the car but I can't see any obvious ways that the water can be getting in.
In the interim I've removed the rubber plug in the spare wheel well to drain the water.
Any ideas where the water can be coming in.

We wont know where the water is coming from, Could be seals on your rear lights or boot rubber, Best way is to check it yourself by showering your car with a hose pipe and see where water leaks in.

Hi Epah, I think I found the problem the seal at the rear tail lights seems to be buggered and that's what's letting the water in

I had hoped that this would be a thread about news leaks and press statements about the all-new Mazda 3.

Now that the water leak has been solved, perhaps we can just convert the thread then?
