Mbete returns state capture report

Can only assume she received legal advice that she was legally obliged to hold it. Simply taking instructions from Zupta pals is not legally sound. This will be a concern for them as they did not want in on the record. No doubt the massive legal team we fund for Zuma will be looking at every legal angle to find a loophole to ensure the report never surfaces through procedural means.

yeah she still cannot hand it back lol

hot potato hot potato

she must hold the report, it is her duty. if not she must be punished for not following rule. dismissed actually.

her not wanting to hold this is proof she is can be compromised and cannot be trusted.

edit: i dont think she never said it, this is backtracking. she saw the fan has been pointed at her..

Or she has heard whats coming this weekend.

I was wondering, who are the legal teams representing Zupta and Van Rooyen? Are they the normal big 4 type private firms? Imagine being Zuma's lawyer and basically screwing the republic for what I would think is a handsome payday. Also, who funds the lawyers? Surely the state (taxpayers) should only pay when there is no expected foul play from them?

If I work as professional for a firm, and get accused for damages or malpractice, then I expect my firm to pay for my defence if it is in the normal course of my job. If the I get accused for theft or corruption and the evidence seems overwhelming, then I would have to pay for my own defence.

True, but remember we are dealing with a corrupt regime here with no regards to the rule of law. Hence Inkandla saga, State Capture & more, so I wouldnt be surprised if we are paying for this.

Mbete is obviously one of Zuma's lapdogs and has high aspirations of maybe becoming a first female president one day, so obviously she wouldn't want to join in the downfall of Jacob Zuma and his corruption. Hell, just by keeping quiet, she is contributing to fraud and wide-scaled corruption.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the recent press release about ANC members in parliament actually starting to do their jobs instead of just existing to enable corruption by thd NEC and Zupta.
