McBride 'used k-word'

Ekurhuleni Metro police chief Robert McBride, "in the presence of metro police officers and members of the public" told six members of the South African Police Service that "he could kill them all with one shot by shooting at gas cylinders" near them.

He's been watching too many blockbuster movies. :rolleyes:

McBride, yet another official that thinks he is above the law. Threatening to shoot policemen just so that he can mouth off at them and feel superior, what a d!ck.

EDIT. I predict that this thread will grow pretty quickly. ;)

If this turns out to be true and he isn't fired and all sorts of other things (hopefully arrested and put in jail), well i dunno what, but the Metro police in Ekurhuleni will have absolutely no standing with the public as they are led by a cowardly criminal who should STILL be in jail for murdering innocent civilians.
 
So what? People on this very forum have used the 'K-Word'
 
Bobbymac : to be honest, the use of the word isn't really the issue... calling your subordinates that (or even policeman in a different branch), in a public area and then threatening to kill them etc is unacceptable from a Police chief.

So then why make a big ruckus about the word being used rather than making a (justified) big deal about the man's idiotic indignant behaviour?

Actually if you read the search results it was predominantly used as a discussion point and not as a racial expletive.

It isn't used in that way by anyone with impunity - if it seems that way it is simply because forum members haven't taken the time to bring it to the attention of the mods.

Ok, what the hell is this myKKK rubbish? I don't really care who uses the word - it's been used and used a lot as my link clearly shows. Got it now?


Edit: if it were a banned word, then surely the administrators of this forum would blank it out the same way as they blank out ****, ****, *****, **** and ****.

I must admit, these words are afforded their power by the folk who outlaw them. Sticks and stones... having said that, i don't condone the use of hate speech, but think from a victim pov, it's not worth getting upset about. You risk living your life under someone elses rule.
 
Are the guys that are claming this, the ones that are being investigated for Cash-in-transit robberies?
