McDonald's Texan burger

Have to say, best burger I've had at McDonalds yet. The BBQ sauce, onions and Hashbrown work well together.
Others at work enjoyed the Mexican more.

Don't know what McDonalds will do in August/Sept etc. They are just putting existing products (jalapeno sauce, bbq sauce, hashbrowns) on burgers and giving it a name, possibly to keep interest of clients with all the growing interest in Burger King.
Almost R38 just for the burger alone so not el cheapo. Bloody good though, will have it again before 28 July.

Will Have it this evening then let you guys know how it was.

is it just the normal cardboard or the angus beef from overseas?

Had it for lunch - not usually a fan of the bbq sauce they use but it works. Far more palatable than the Mexican.

Well I just had it.

While not as good as the mexican, it definitely works and I'd say a higher quality burger than the rest of the Mc'd crap.

Tried it, it was nice. As general staple, still prefer the bic mac, but was good for a change. I expected more.

Same. Felt like it was missing something. Think it needed an extra patty.

I thought the Mexican was way better. But I still enjoyed the Texan I had today :)

I just want to know what next month's burger will be! I'll be keeping my eye on the massive billboard driving down Kloof Street at the end of the month.

Now that I see those pics I'll definitely say that bacon would have given the SA Texan that missing x factor.

I steer well clear of limited edition products. Hate it when I love a product then they discontinue it

Just had one of these.
Purely because they're closest to the office - should've just gone with my original gut feel for a McFeast or drove on towards Steers 3km down the road.

Dissapointing is the word.

Same cardboard burger as always.
The hasbrown is the same one that comes with the breakfast meals - not as on the advertising boards which take up the entire bun.
BBQ Sauce and Jalepeno Sauce worked well together.
They could eliminate the caramelised onions altogether - does nothing for me here, as with the Mexican.

Honestly feel that this is the last time I ever visit a McD's again.
Steers has got me back in their court.
