So just got some MCITP Enterprise Administration (MCSA's) material from some site. I was like OK, this is a lot.
70-640
70-642
70-643
70-647
And an elective.

These books are written by Microsoft themselves.
Are like +-4000 pages + the one elective elective.

So how does one do it on their own and in what time frame.

I've just started mine, been at it for two weeks. Well it may be a lot of content, I really don't think it will be all that difficult. 2-3 Months per module at a guess.

If anyone is willing to share any other resources, that will be great!

Are you doing it in KZN? If so, where?

are you guys using the self sudy route then you register for exams using prometric ?

How do you register if you're outside the US?

I'm doing the self study and looking at getting my qualifications now after working in the field for some years. I'm trying to find a place where I can just sit and write the exams but it is not an easy thing to find in Durban.

Well, yeah, I've got all the books from Microsoft. I'm doing the 4 core exams and one elective, and that is exam 70-680, MCTS/MCSA, configuring Windows 7, so that's my MCITP. And I have downloaded all 5 CBT Nugget videos also from J@mes Conrad, about 1.2GB each, helpful indeed; what I/'ll so is scan through one book, and enter it's nuggets, then SEE.

Well, you can go to any prometric venue, usually your Damelin's and Boston's and some institutions are, just enquire and let them do the bookings, i believe eac exam is under R2k.
Take a look here: http://www.comptia.co.za/index.php?l=partners Aso, I forgot to bookmark this site, where they list all/most prometric venues in S.A, there were about 50 or so.

If you guys looking for exam prep guides (preparation exams) pm me. I can get you the latest PDF versions really cheap ;)

I'm doing self study so no classes. You should be able to book via prometric which means you can write at any Boston Campus in the country. I do mine at the Port Shepstone Campus.
