MCSD Certification for work as developer

Hi All,

Looking for expert advice on the value of mcsd certification as a stand alone.

Im very new to the industry and have only done some free online courses. I was wondering if taking the leap for mcsd certification could lead to the beginning of a career in the industry or is it wiser to pursue a bsc or related degree before attempting such?

Definitely try for a BSc if possible. Any education is a plus, but the MCSD is going to lack many conceptual fundamentals and be relatively narrow in scope.

MCSD is very good in preparing you for the actual job so if you can do that you definitely should.
