What will be the easiest and cheapest method to measure power consumption on a specific switch on the db board?

Instantaneous or over time?

Either way probably an efergy or similar with the sensor clamped around that particular wire.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm actually looking to start my solar journey and want to find out how much power my domestic's hut is using. She has her own kitchen and 50L geyser. Will it be cheaper to converter her to a small gas geyser/stove or and only power her lights and tv or just leave it as is and add it to the solar.

We probably see her working for another 5years until the kids are grown and then we won't need to power the hut.

Get the efergy. It will be useful over time as you head on this journey.

Rather add it to the solar. All depends if she uses the stove as a heater of course.
