Good Luck to the Checkers marketing team :/

There was a reason why the scientists did not want the report published and this us why: the media makes no attempt to explain facts as facts don't sell.

The report just states that undeclared meat was found, not that all the meat tested contained horse or donkey meat.

I agree that labelling needs to reflect the correct ingredients as there are people who cannot eat certain types of meat due to religious or diet reasons.

Anyway, I'm off to go make a lekka poetjie with the donkey meat I just bought!

If the scientists had released the report in the first place then they'd have had control of the situation. But nooooooo, they went with the "you can't handle the truth" approach and now they're whining about the consequences. **** them. This is something the public wants to know about, and their publicly funded research should have been release a long time ago.
