Due to SA seeming to be the tech backwoods we seem to only get lower end 2-in-1's especially when it comes to storage space nvm ram... which annoys me to no end. This was the only one I encountered with an actual HDD instead of an internal SD card.... 6K is also pretty much my expenditure ceiling.

Question though is how reliable are these mecer tablets these days? I know the early one's (105's) for example had power management problems where the battery would discharge faster than the device could charge simply by having started it nvm doing anything.

Another thing is what chargers do they use now? Could you charge one with a regular 20kmah DC5V 2A power bank?

I mostly see Mecer PC's in the corporate world.

Yeah Mecer is nice enough to give you the option of clean or pre-installed.... easier for them that way anyway I think since multiple versions are involved.... did a bit of digging and accidentally discovered that they are actually rebranded ECS machines but didn't find any reviews for those.

The HP x360 seems like a good alternative yes, thinking of getting one of those for my mom and a mecer for my dad cause it's a bit more "rugged".

So anyone have any actual experience with mecer tablets or 2-in-1's?
