I noticed that this Mecer infrared dongle works well with Samsung phones, you can transfer and receive stuff without any problems (as long as line of sight between the two devices is not interrupted).
However, I've noticed that it does not work well with Nokia phones - it do pick up the phone, but that's it. Doesn't go any further, and keeps disconnecting/reconnecting, even should you put the dongle/phone on a slower speed setting.
Doesn't bother myself at the moment as I use it very seldom, but I'm just wondering - what is so different with Nokia's infrared thingy than Samsung's?
