Hello all , I recently purchased a Mercer Lobo 2400 inverter. My tv, sound bar and Dstv all work just fine on it , but my PlayStation 4 does not. Could those be that it’s a modified sine wave converter? If that is the issue anyway to change it ?

Possibly because it is modified sine wave, yes.

You cannot change it.

Don't know. I think there are several people who run the PS4 with a similar Mecer inverter?

You should ask in This thread.
I too don't see a reason for it to not work, the input gets rectified by the power supply of the PS4 so it shouldn't matter if its modified or pure.
 
For future reference since I had to look this up and if anyone have this issue:
All Apple devices, later generation of PS4 and depending on if imported also some Xbox versions, require pure sine wave power and will not power up if the supply is not pure sine wave power - make sure your UPS/Inverter battery system output is pure sine wave if you have these devices, check with the devices you have at home to understand what they require.
I am not going to delve into why or technicalities, you are welcome to google it.
