I Guys I want to buy This Laptop From Laptop Direct Is It Worth it and is Laptop Direct a reliable company And By the way how is Mecer when it comes to upgrading the laptop by yourself.I am also looking at the HP Compaq 615.But i mainly want to do some light work and some visual programming.

HP Compaq 615, received one last week, good laptop, just add another gig for R300... Also you can get it for R3999 at Zones in Durban...

Also upgrading laptops isn't easy normally, but I see on LaptopDirect you could actually upgrade the Mecer quite significantly... And ofcourse it's newer tech, but I've never really trusted Mecer

Mecer have done well to get the i-series out so quickly, but I would wait to see what comes from across the pond.

Thanx Guys I Went For the Hp Compaq 615s at Zones in DBN Quite happy with my purchase Well Mecer had a *** deal when i phoned nashua.Other than i am looking to up my Ram to 3GB soon and a new HD
