Mechanic’s car explodes while he's fixing it

I have a suspicion he was removing the Petrol pump situated in the fuel tank and working on the wires without the battery being disconnected. Inches away from an open fuel tank /facepalm

Yup. I seen that happen once in Chatsworth by an old char balis house. Luckily he had fire extinguishers close at hand.

Speedy recovery and hopefully business will be booming again soon.

Poor chap hope all comes right.

Don't wanna know the thoughts of horror going through that man's head while watching his car and the one next to it, and his house, practically burn to ashes before his eyes... while his own leg was basically on fire, and all he was trying to do was fix the car and improve his standard of living. Life's a bitch sometimes, that's for sure!

Indeed, and now the poor guy will be told "leave it to the experts" every time he tries to fix something around the house, he won't even be trusted to fix a light switch, lest he burns the whole house down.

And professionally no one will be leaving their vehicle there in a hurry.

Wonder if he wanted his picture taken to create sympathy?

He had a note 7 charging in the cigarette lighter.

Correct, it's a pathetic sentiment. You don't need an expert for everything.
