Looking for another mechanic asap. References would be appreciated and stories about where you met trustworthy one's as I seem to be having cr*p luck with them.
My car over-heated as the thermometer decided not to work correctly (gauge says A, engine says B), now I have gotten two qoutes from mechanic's. Mechanic A say's the top need's to be skimmed (without even checking) and Mechanic B says if I'm lucky that wont be the case. Now why aren't I going with either mechanics. Well Mechanic A had my car the friday before to attend to an issue with a weird noise while steering, car came back worse much worse; problem wasnt fixed and the radio wasnt working anymore.
Mechanic A is a a guy who tried rebuilding a 130i Tazz engine and failed causing the owner to buy a replacement.
It's kinda urgent.
