Does anyone have the following set-up: Med8er and Sony 40V550? My old man has this set-up and we are having issues with compatibility. Firstly the Med8er came up with a pink screen, and would not show in HD, just 576p. So we did a firmware update and that seemed to work. Now it has started running 2 green lines through the screen, vertical. Changed HMDI cables but is still present. It's also not a problem with the TV, as my brother has the same TV, and it shows the same green lines. Last resort is to try swop it out for another model, and see if that works.

I have a Sony 40" W Series and I had no such problems. I had it plugged directly into the TV for quite a while and worked just fine. Plugged in via a HDMI switch into my amp now (ran out of plugs on the amp!).

You have answered your own question, it's not a problem with the TV, your mede8tor may be faulty, take it back to where you purchased it and let them test it. If it only displays 576p then I would conclude that the onboard GPU has a problem.

Its not your tv take your mede8er back I have a 40" sony I have no problems with my med8er
