Howdy All,
I have an Isonic M8HD media player. I've had it for over a year now and it works great for what I use it for - movies in the lounge and plenty music videos over the Hi-Fi. I have a few questions though:
1. The remote sometimes plays up - I can't seem to get a replacement from the supplier. I bought a remote from a newer Isonic from the same supplier (only 35 bucks) because it looked exactly the same as mine, so I hoped it would work but alas no... So, I considered one of those remotes that could "learn" the frequencies from an existing remote but I can't find any - any ideas of where I can get one?
2. I don't have any user manual for the thing - do any of you have one to share please?
3. It has a network connection on the back and I was considering connecting it to my home network because it's a hassle to take a laptop to the lounge each time to copy stuff over via USB. Has anyone done this that can offer any advice? I've tried with a cat5 cable to my router but nothing - not sure what settings to use.
Thanks in advance.
