LG are releasing the ST600 shortly which will enable you to get all the MediaLink functionality that their TVs have, and this includes Plex :)
You can also use Plex on the higher range Sammy BD players.
 
Never been much of a content hoarder/archiver (pretty much get/watch/dump), so not had much interest in media players/servers, and DLNA has sufficed for media sharing.

But out of interest decided to give the whole Plex environment (client-server derivative of XBMC) a bash. Installed the lastest Plex Media Server on my main Win7 home PC, and Plex clients on the following;

Samsung 46D6000 SmartTV
Macbook Air (both OSX Lion & Win7 64)
iPad & iPhone4 ($4.99 for both)

Gotta say really impressed at how seamless & integrated it all works together. Each client presents the same slick user interface including auto-download content metadata (e.g. cover art, backround art, synopsis, actors, codec/stream info icons etc.). 1080p files play happily on all devices as you can optimise each clients bw & res based on its abilities.

Coolest feature is that the playback memory is server side, so I can start watching something on the TV, then stop it there, fire up the client on my iPad, and contine watching the same file from exactly where I stopped on the TV.

Very nifty, well worth a try.

Same server setup and client on Sammy BD-D5500 bluray player, windows notebook and GS Note. Awesome experience.

Roman, I've been toying with the idea of moving away from my PS3 Media Server setup to get all the eye-candy available with XBMC. That said, if the telly provides something similar with the Plex interface, it's less devices to cater for...so it sounds like a pretty awesome option.

Would you mind putting up some screenshots of Plex in action on your TV?

There are lots of vids on YouTube demo'ing the plex client on various TV's and BD players. I purchased the Sammy BD-D5500 purely for plex as neither of my TV's support the Plex client - and it works well. Any Sammy model from D5500 up will support the Plex Client.
The D5300 also supports it but apparently with some issues.

Go check out YouTube. It will have you drooling to get a a device with Plex support :)

Yeah, you won't be disappointed.

I've also added some automation to the setup. My Win7 Plex Media Server also runs uTorrent configured to listen to EZTV's RSS feed. The RSS Downloader is setup with the few series I really like (and am too impatient to wait for on DSTV), which are dropped directly into Plex's TVShow directory once Finished. Since EZTV's consistant file naming convention is supported by Plex's scraper, all metadata is seamlessly download in the background.

You land up with a fully automated Internet series PVR system with a rich interface, able to stream to multiple different viewing devices. Now this is how media is supposed to be done in the 21st century.
 
So I've been messing around a little this weekend (With the Windows client only at this point), and while it's not bad...I'm not completely blown away.

I suppose it's because I've still got a heavy XBMC mindset, that and the fact that I'm prone to re-installing my machine every 6 months and have taken to placing all my metadata in the same folders as my media (Using Ember). Doesn't seem as though Plex reads the local nfo/tbn files, and I've not yet figured out a way to customize the poster/fanart options yet.

That said, it still remains an awesome option. Integrating the media server into the TV reduces the overall footprint, and the client/server aspect of Plex conforms to my plan to centralize all my media and use from multiple locations.

Check this section for a thread I started on the device. Looks like ACRyan make a much more sexier/functional unit, slightly more expensive though.
