I paid for two magazines in December 2011, Men's Health and Women's Health but till today February 18 2012, there's no sign of them. No one from Media24 Magazines ever called me, when I send emails, they bounce back but I get their adverts each and every day. I went to Facebook and posted on their wall still no response, can some one please help me.
The funny thing is, I subscribed and transferred money after three days, but on the second day a lady called me to "check' what was happening with my payment, but now no one is "checking" how I'm enjoying reading my mags so I can be able to tell them I still haven't found my magazines.

Is Media24 a rip off?
 
I had subscriptions to stuff, popular mech and mens health... Hardly ever got them, phnes the company and id get that issue a few weeks kate en next month again no magazine... Will never ever subscribe to magazines again.
 
Hi friends,,,,,,,I have finally received my magazines last week. And today I received an SMS to say the follow up ones for the following month is coming.

Thanks the ladies called Jenny and Marina even if it was after such a big run around.
 
I bought my daughter a subs for Vanity Fair in January 2011, to be delivered to her address in London. I paid on-line and the subs was converted to Rands about 10 days after I submitted the request. She never received one, and I sent 11 emails before I had a generic reply, this was in May. I eventually phoned them and was told that since I had paid from South Africa, they were not allowed to deliver to an address in the UK. I asked whether they had just invented that rule, as I had received no notification that this was the way they do business, and so, if they were not going to deliver, could I have a refund. I was told my subs were not refundable, so I said, its either the magazine or the money, which one do you want. She put down the phone. Fortunately, I had her name and a recording of the call, so I emailed it to consumercomplaints.org.uk. Within 6 days Vanity Fair called me to say they were very upset at my bad attitude and would prefer not to have me as a customer. Very plummy-voiced lady and snooty. Again, I asked for a refund. Now, it must be approved by their New York office and they are terribly busy. So I said I was going to send this phone recording back to consumercomplants again, which I did

10 days later the money was returned to my c/card account. I then got my cousin who lives in the UK to buy a subs for my daughter.

So there's your answer.. they think everyone is idiot
