The aspiring actress who 'dates for dinner' and exploits men to eat at the fancy restaurants on her 'hit-list'.
An aspiring actress in Toronto has outed herself as a serial online dater who shamelessly meets men for dates just so they will pay dinner at fancy restaurants.
Erin Wotherspoon, 23, chronicles each of her dates on her blog and even has a hit-list of some of the nicest restaurants in the city where she wants to convince men to take her.
She writes: 'We all know that getting what you want in life can be tough... So I've decided to become a serial dater to fulfill my restaurant hit list.'
The petite blonde says 'men should feel honored by this open invitation to date me.'
Miss Wotherspoon has signed up for several dating sites - including Plenty of Fish, OK Cupid and the Jewish site J-Date in the interest of finding her next meal ticket.
Online, she does not hint that she's looking only for dinner.
But some sites have apparently caught on. J-Date deactivated her account. She suspects it's because she has already developed a reputation.
Miss Wotherspoon says she has been a 'foodie' since she was little - but as a struggling actor in Toronto, her wallet is 'fashionably thin.'
She has already hit up the Japanese sushi restaurant Jabistro - where the prix fixe tasting menu runs $77 - and Canoe, a restaurant high atop the TD Bank Tower, where the cheapest entree is 'Jerusalem artichoke risotto with crispy sunflowers' for $32.
She says dating for dinner isn't easy - in fact, it's harder than she thought it would be.
'Exploiting men for meals is tough. I have to put up with a lot of bad conversation and to be honest for awhile there I didn’t think I was up for the challenge,' she writes.
'Yes, I had some good food but was it really worth my time? Keeping up with all the silly text messages, feigning interest in things I don’t care about and trying to figure out who the f*** is who.'
Miss Wotherspoon says that through all the free meals, she hasn't met a single man who has piqued her interest.
'I'm not completely heartless. If I did meet Mr Right, I'd probably be receptive to him, but at this point, I just keep meeting Mr Unibrow and Mr Weirdo,' she told AM640 talk radio.
She has yet to go on a second date with any of the men she's met.

Yeah - she'd at least have to give head...
